Photographer Tavell Brown is originally from California then moved to Nashville, TN in 2001. He has been a professional photographer since 2004 after receiving his degree in digital photography, from Nossi College of Art. His work is something you might see in KING or XXL magazine, a style he refers to as “urban glamour”. He enjoys working with musical artists, models and people with ideas that are different, fresh, and eye catching. He is also highly interested in getting involved with marketing and adverting.
Tavell has worked with numerous models, hair stylists and other fashion industry professionals in and around the Southern Region of the United States. He has had the pleasure of working on two different projects in Nashville: Wet Dymes in the Key 09 calendar and Concrete Nashville 10 calendar. His work has appeared in numerous Concrete Magazine, and The Beautiful Magazine issues. His work has also been feature on many book covers. He was an SEA nominee for the 2010 Photographer of the Year & also was nominated as 2010 Photographer of the Year for the Hip Hop in the Ville awards.
